We now move on to the second part of this little guide on what to do in Skiathos in 4 days<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

I know, they are very few to fully experience this magnificent island, but at least they can give a taste of the beauty and lifestyle it offers.<\/span><\/p>\n

DAY 3<\/span><\/h2>\n

I would definitely do a boat tour<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The solutions are different and for all budgets.<\/span><\/p>\n

You can choose one of the several boats that moor at the harbour, heading for Lalaria beach<\/strong> (among the most iconic beaches on the island and only accessible by sea), or a sailboat that accommodates up to 10-12 people. You can also make a quick detour to Skopelos<\/strong> and other islets scattered in the sea off Skiathos.<\/span><\/p>\n

Just take a trip to the harbour in the evening. All the boats are moored there: you can ask for information and book for when you wish, depending on availability.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"Sailing<\/p>\n

If you want to hire a boat privately, there are both crewed and non-skippered solutions.<\/span><\/p>\n

For the first option, we recommend the excellent Kosta<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

On his website<\/strong><\/a> you will find all the information: skiathosprivetrips.gr<\/span><\/p>\n

Kosta is also the owner of Gravisi Pizza<\/strong><\/a>, which is located in one of the small alleys perpendicular to Papadiamanti Street.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you have a boat licence<\/strong> or are familiar with small boats, you can rent a small one from Matina, located at Vromolimnos Beach<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n


\n<\/span>We have also other solutions<\/strong>: ask to me or to our manager Luca<\/strong> and we\u2019ll recommend you the best for you.<\/span><\/p>\n

For fishing lovers, I recommend a night fishing trip<\/strong>, which I personally experienced.<\/span><\/p>\n

I went with my friend Stefano to fish for squid and barracuda<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Stefano was fantastic. For the aperitif<\/strong> he prepared for us and for the great fishing lesson he gave us.<\/span><\/p>\n

We left at sunset with a magical atmosphere and came back 4 hours later with a nice catch: about 20 squids and 4 barracudas<\/strong>!<\/span><\/p>\n

If you have been on the boat all day and want to go out in the evening and eat something light, you can go to Koziakas<\/strong>; the best spit-roasted meat of your holiday can be eaten here, in the alleys of the centre<\/strong>. You will be wrapped up in the local atmosphere and, while you eat, you might take part in some sirtaki dancing<\/strong>!<\/span><\/p>\n

Exhausted by the boat ride and the roast lamb of Koziakas, all that remains is to go back up to the Sky Sea Resort and enjoy a glass of ouzo by the pool<\/strong> before going to bed.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nDAY 4<\/span><\/h2>\n

Another day at the sea?<\/span><\/p>\n

Do you fancy beach bars, music, cocktails, and people enjoying the beach life?<\/span><\/p>\n

Or do you prefer a less crowded beach, where you can have a nice fish lunch by the sea?<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

If you lean towards the first option, you can choose between Porto Paradiso, Koukounaries (the largest beach on Skiathos) or Agia Eleni (famous for the beautiful sunsets).<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

If your answer is the second one, there are Megalos Aselinos, Agistros, Mandraki.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

All beautiful, quiet beaches where you can have lunch by the sea.<\/span><\/p>\n

At Megalos Aselinos, there is a taverna where you can eat fresh fish<\/strong>, while at Agistros and Mandraki, it is more of a snack bar: Greek salad, club sandwiches and that sort of thing.<\/span><\/p>\n

A small parenthesis for those who like to run at dawn<\/strong> like me: in Skiathos you can enjoy running trails above the sea, in the harbour area, in the hills.<\/span><\/p>\n

There is something for everyone. Let me know and I will be happy to go for a run with you.<\/span><\/p>\n

From sunrise to sunset. As the sun sets over the horizon, there are two highly recommended activities.<\/span><\/p>\n

Take one of our quads<\/strong> and get lost in the country roads of Skiathos.<\/span><\/p>\n

Round and round, you will always come across a beach or an observation point by the sea \ud83d\ude42 \ud83d\ude42<\/span><\/p>\n

For those who prefer four-wheelers, there is always the sunset gallop on the beach.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

You can contact the Skiathos Horse Riding Club<\/a><\/strong> and ask for more information.<\/span><\/p>\n

For dinner, I would return to the alleyways of Papadiamanti Street for dinner at Basilikos<\/a><\/strong>: here tradition meets innovation and great taste<\/strong>. You won’t regret it.<\/span><\/p>\n
